Our Story

Birdzout began with a quest for better bird control solutions. Technology was changing many industries, why couldn't it change pest bird control? Many bird deterrent and bird proofing systems were based on methods that were decades old, while some worked to a degree they could be improved, smarter options were needed.

From our home base on the West Coast of New Zealand, we began working on improvements to existing products along with new technology that would be more effective and easier for you, our customers to use.

• In 2012 we released our first automated laser bird deterrent solution - the BirdChase laser with rotator system.
• 2013 brought the first Birdzout BirdEraser laser gun.
• 2015 saw the introduction of the Birdzout shock tape system
• 2018 & 2019 involved the creation and release of Birdzout Bioacoustics and Birdzout Auto Laser equipment.
• 2021 the all new Birdzout Auto Laser ultimate and Birdzout Android and IOS apps.
